Albies Tearpads

I spied two tearpads when I was in Albies this week:

$1.00 off any produce wyb 2 Quaker Oatmeal Packages (previously mentioned in another post). This is in the ceral aisle by the quaker oatmeal packages.

$1.00 off wyb (1) Jello AND (1) Philedelphia Cream Cheese AND (1) Baker's Chocolate. They are on a display at the back of the special promotions aisle by the eggs.

Not a smashing deal, but not too bad if you like to make oreo truffles. The Philly Cream Cheese is super expensive at Albertsons. I priced them out at WalMart. The Jello is $1.00, the Philly is $1.19 ish, and the Baker Chocolate is in the low $2's. So if you double it you can get all three for about 1.50.

Did you get cheap oreos last week at Albies?

1 package oreos, crushed
add 1 package cream cheese, softened
form into balls, refridgerate for 5 minutes
melt chocolate squares
dip the oreo balls into melted chocolate
refridgerate until consumption (some will never make it to the fridge...!!!)
